1) This chart was created from historical tables included in the U.S. Federal Government fiscal year 2008 budget.
2) The chart shows the budget for each agency of the federal government during the 2006 government fiscal year (FY),
charted from largest to smallest, after the removal of the four largest, Health and Human Services, Social Security (Off-budget),
Defense-Military, and Treasury.
3) With the four largest agencies removed, one can observe the relative size of some of the smaller agencies of the federal
government.
